What do I do with VERY thick hair and straight it without taking an hour?
Everytime I go to a salon, the hairstylist tries to make it less thicker by trimming it and cutting abit but I don't wanna try that again cause now I don't like it and I'm trying to make it long for prom.. Problem is: I have very thick hair and I love to straight my hair but it always takes an hour, my hair is independant and sometimes needs 5 long strokes before straightning completely. I wanna know, is there a way for me to have thin and easy-to-straight hair without getting any cuts?
I use a 100$ flat iron/straightning iron/straightner so don't tell me to use one in one of your answers cause I do.
Try getting a chemical straightener applied at a salon and a high quality flat iron (by CHI or FHI or some other salon brand - the cheaper ones from Wally World and Target are not as good for your hair). Also use a straightening, heat protecting product when you straighten your hair, like CHI flat iron spray or V05 makes one too.
