What sort of chocolate do I need to melt to dip strawberries?
Trying to do a treat of dipped strawberries and wanted to melt chocolate over little mini fondue, what sort of choc is best (and reasonably priced!)
If you like in england asda and Morrison's and probably sainsbury's and Tesco do their own brand do value chocolate in dark, milk and white and they are perfectly good. I use them when i'm doing fondue or chocolate fountains, their cheap and they taste good, especially the asda one.
Also because their cheap you could do a selection of dipped strawberries in the different types of chocolate and that would look really good if you display them on a plate, that way they have a choice of which chocolate they want.You can even do little designs on them or coat them in sprinkles, chocolate dust or coconut.
