How to set the laptop wireless Internet access

I have installed ADSL at home, yesterday I have bought a wireless router, the installation was successful, but my new notebook HP Pavilion DV4 , It can not be achieved connection.

Is it  problem with my laptop or my settings ？

How should I complete the set？

First Plug PCMCIA wireless card into a laptop computer, either HP Pavilion DV6  or HP Pavilion DV6000 Windows XP will recognize and install driver. And next Configure AP, AP is divided into with and without gateway, the AP without gateway equals a hub, where I concentrate on the AP configuration of without Gateway.

With NETGEAR ME102 AP, for example,connect AP by the USB cable that AP alonged with to the notebook computer(HP Pavilion DV7 ) USB interface, install the software that comes with settings.

1, "start" and "procedures" to find "NETGEAR ME102 AP'Access Point USB Management" and click in the AP's setup interface, click the "Configure", enter the configuration window.

2, In "General" item, fill in the name easy to remember in Access Point Name and ESSID. channel selection can be arbitrary, but the laptop wireless card must match to it.

3, set "Rates" to "Auto

4, in the "IP Setting" item, if you are using DHCP (dynamically assigned IP address), select the "DHCP Enable" is ok. set "DHCP Primary Prot" to Ethernet.

5, in the "Encryption" item, the family used notebook computers, generally use the Disable, which disables the standard encryption algorithm WAP. the two after can not be considered.

And here, AP setup completed.

Open the "Network Places" and "property" to "wireless network connection status" in the  "Wireless Network Connection Properties"of Properties, click on "Wireless Network Configuration", in "Preferred networks" below, in "Add" Click "association "item, set to the service name SSID unity with the AP's ESSID, and then use DHCP, the IP set to automatically obtain. All set to complete.

Fairly simple, right? Hands-on, with the above process several Road, then go brewing a cup of coffee and some dessert, you can comfortably use the laptop computers (HP Pavilion DV8000  or HP Pavilion DV9000  that's ok )in the network of the world enjoy a swim at home.

To link a PayPal account to your eBay account:
1. Go to My eBay and click the Account tab
2. On the left side of the page, click the “Addresses” link.
3. Next to your “Primary shipping address”, click the “Change” link.
4. Click the Add PayPal Addresses button.
