i applied to be a financial planner last year and not only are you under constant training but you also must bring in a certain quota of profits for the company each year. e.g 3 million + for some companies.
Many companies also don't pay you a base salary, most of it is all commission you get from clients YOU have to find.
You are also expected to find and keep your own clientele.
I suggest looking into being a financial analyst. with your career and educational background its sounds like you might enjoy that more.
