How do I get a face on the Doll from Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge?
I just got the Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge. I was hoping that the cartridge would put the faces on the dolls for you. But if you use the pens, it draws everything it normally cuts. I am not very artistc so am not sure how to put the faces on the dolls. I have read that you can use the head cut out as a templet by placing over the doll cutout and tracing the openings with a pencil. And then going over the pencil with markers. Any help would be apprecialted! Thank you for your help!
I know how to cut out the dolls and faces, I just don't know how to put faces on the dolls with pencils or markers since I'm not that artistic.
There is a way to have the faces cut on the head. Ok I am on pg 29 of the booklet that comes with the cartridge. There are 11 different expressions for the little guys/gals. To make an face you press the body button + Headwear (or headwear and shiftlock), accessories 1 (or acc 1 + shiftlock), acc 2 (or acc 2 +shiflock), acc 3 (acc 3 +shiftlock), tabs (tabs +shiftlock). So that gives you 11 different options. Also don't know if you have explored the www.cricut.com messageboards yet or not. There is some wonderful work on there and place to post your own creations. Great people to help you, support you enable you, give you advice, enable you some more!! and there other different forums, a forum just for different cartridge exploration and such.
