Create Uniquely Designed Cards on Father's Day

Father is a special friend who admires you, loves and cares for you. He is your confidant in your mischief and a loving and doting companion. Wish your father this Father's Day, with exquisite greeting cards.
You can design either printable cards or electronic cards. It is fun to create cards by collecting a few ideas from the Internet or around your surroundings. You can create bird and bark cards that can appear as natural as ever. Collect a few twigs from a tree and small pieces of soft wood out of the bark. You also need thick paper material on which you may glue your collections. One can take a thin sheet of plastic to cover the front page of the card from any kind of hamper. Divide the thick page into two folds. Draw a page layout or page border in order to make the appearance of the card neat, clean and attractive. Then you need to draw a picture of a bird feeding its little ones. You can even use greeting card templates available in the market to draw the picture of birds and nest. If desirable, a person can even add embossed or gradient effect to the pictures by using these computer-based tools. There are many other in-built features that different templates can offer you to explore. You can make the nest and the tree realistic by sticking pieces of wood showing them as the bark of the tree. Use double-sided padded tape for this purpose. A person can also glue the remaining twigs as leaves and twigs for the nest. In this way, you can create attractive greeting card for your father. Such pictures depict the meaning of love and its depth that your father has for you and your understanding of this love and affection. You can collect a number of such ideas from the Internet and start creating your own cards. In the inside page, one can create verses of one's own or pick up some famous verses to beautify the card. It is a lovely expression to celebrate the day and make it fun-filled.

Nested If Else Statements?

Ok I need some kind of template or an example of how to do Nested If Else Statements with multiple conditions(about 8)

Basically my assignment is to create a program that ask the user to enter the day of the week and based on the day of the week display output that tells the user an event happening on that day. I think I'm on the right path but I keep getting either and else without if error could somebody help me out and give me some kind of template for nested if Else Statements with like 6 or 7 conditions.

Thanks In Advance I Really Need Help
I'm Sorry I'm Doing a Java Program

It sounds like you want switch/case -- it's just a fancy form of a sequential if/else complex. Here's a trivial example (absolutely unsophisticated):

int dayOfWeek = 1; // let's say 0==Monday, 1==Tuesday, 2==Wednesday, etc

// at some point, you will ask the user for the day, and the value will be saved in 'dayOfWeek'

// first method, using ifs
if (dayOfWeek==0)
{
printf("Mondays are half-workdays. Sleep in!n");
}
else if (dayOfWeek==1)
{
printf("You have a dentist appointment today.n");
}
else if (dayOfWeek==2)
...
...
else if (dayOfWeek==6) // Sunday, the last day we recognize
{
printf("Nothing is scheduled for today.n");
}
else // unrecognized day
{
printf("Wait -- what day is it?!n");
}

// second method, using switch/case
switch (dayOfWeek)
{
case 0:
printf("Mondays are half-workdays. Sleep in!n");
break;
case 1:
printf("You have a dentist appointment today.n");
break;
case 2:
...
...
case 6:
printf("Nothing is scheduled for today.n"); // Sunday
break;
default:
printf("Wait -- what day is it?!n");
}

As you can see, the switch/case construct is more readable. Of course, you might not be "allowed" to use it yet (if you haven't been "taught" it).

(Sorry, Y!A doesn't support solid whitespace, so the formatting is wonky).
