When a Hispanic girl celebrates her Quinceañera, she is making her first step from being a little girl to being a woman. The young ladies celebrating her Quinceañera need quinceanera dresses for the church service and for the party that follows. Picking perfect quinceanera dresses is very important for this special occasion and should not be taken lightly. The following are some tips on how to find the perfect quinceanera dresses for your big day which are usually ball gowns.
Step 1:Drive through a Spanish-speaking neighborhood in your area looking for stores that advertise wholesale quinceanera dresses and baptism gowns. Visit thrift stores or consignment shops. Quinceanera dresses can be pricey, and some people may try to recoup some of the expense by re-selling the dresses. Bridal shops can also be great places for you to find the cheap quinceanera dresses.
Step 2:Ask whether a friend or family member has a dress that you can use. Although many quinceanera girls like to get their own dress and save it as a keepsake, using a friend's dress will help you save considerably. You can have more money to spend on other aspects of the event.
Step 3:Have your dress tailor-made. This option may save you money depending on how much you pay in labor fees. You may be able to find a seamstress that doesn't charge too much. New dresses can range from $200 to $1000 or more. Compare the expenses and see if it's worth it.
