This Is How You Can Set Up A Squeeze Page

If you want to capture visitor's names, addresses and other information for the purpose of follow-up marketing, you create what is called a squeeze page, which is simply a single web page that does very effectively, the task of capturing the information you are after. With no exit hyperlinks from it, you, the marketer, entice the prospect with a story or offer that relates to his interests. 

A squeeze page generally does not have as much copy as a sales letter, but most squeeze pages have some teaser text and bullet points. And this is the method required for marketers to build the "list", that precious highly targeted group of people to whom they later build a relationship with and further on, from time to time, make marketing offers to.  

Audio and video is now used increasingly, in place of text on squeeze pages. Most text-based squeeze pages consist of a headline, a short paragraph or two of copy, a few bullet points, and an opt in box –all "above the fold", meaning the reader doesn't have to scroll down to continue reading.

Many squeeze pages have graphics including a header and footer, and sometimes other graphics like an eCover for a free report that's being given away as reward for opting in.  

In order for the squeeze page to capture visitors' names and addresses, it must be used in conjunction with an email autoresponder, to begin delivering information as soon as the prospect confirms their email address. And this promised information delivered upon completion of confirming their email address, has proven to be an effective method of increasing opt-ins using Squeeze Pages. 

The first thing you need is a basic HTML page and you will get it done with a WYSIWYG editor, which makes it easy for beginners. WYSIWYG stands for "what you see is what you get." A WYSIWYG HTML editor allows you to design visually, and you generally need to know little, if any, HTML to use one. 

The colours you use for your background in your squeeze pages, are up to you, although, there are known studies about which colours have a greater opt in value. Don't use incredibly bright and distracting colours and instead you might want to use a darker red or a medium blue as the background for your squeeze page as many marketers use to make them look good with any of the graphics you might choose on the page.

You don't want to put your text directly on this coloured background, as it might be too difficult to read. Create instead a table with a white background, and put all of your text and graphics inside the table.

Create a single cell (1 x 1) in your program, and set the background to white. This table should be about 700 and 800 pixels in width. Most people use between 750 and 770 pixels because it is large enough to look good on monitors of very high resolutions, yet it sill shows up well even at 800 x 600.  

Inside this table, you put the rest of the squeeze page information, such as the headline, a little copy, bullet points or an audio or video, and your opt-in-box (the code for this you'll get it from the autoresponder). You can also include the eCover of the products you'll be giving away to subscribers, if you have one. 

Your headline should be something that tease your visitors and make them really want to sign up to get the information they want. Next, you need to include some very short teaser copy. A paragraph or two of text or bullet points describing the product you are giving away for free. Then, you will create a list in your autoresponder and get the code for the opt in form.  

Paste the form code into the HTML area and you are finished with your squeeze page. Save the file, upload it and test it and voila! Start sending traffic to it.

Where can I buy a large, multi-level cage built for rats?

I've checked my local pet stores (Petco & Petsmart). All the rat cages they have are too small for my 3 rats.

All the large, multi-level cages are built for ferrets or chinchillas, with 1" spacing between the wires.

My rats are small enough to squeeze out of them, because I've tried to use these cages already.

Where can I buy a large, multi-level rat cage?

I'd suggest making your own.. it's easy, and it runs about the same price (if not less) than buying one..

If price is an issue watch for old dressers or cabinets on the side of the road.. or check places like goodwill for them.. (I like using old dressers that are missing drawers.. you can get them cheap, and you don't need the drawers anyway.)
