Journal/Scrapbook With Friends - Weird?

So a group of friends and I have recently started high school and we never see each other throughout the day. So every week on Monday we give the journal to the next person.

We put in movie stubs, pictures, stickers, rumors, secrets, all kinds of things and we all love doing it. We even have a whole list of rules regarding the journal.

I just finished reading the "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" and I was wondering if it would be weird to make a scrapbook like that with my friends. Would it be considered strange?
