Is there a yellow flower/plant that if you bite the stems, it taste like lemon?

I know this sounds really weird, but when I was younger me and my best friend would bite these yellow flowers that grew on the side of her house. No, it wasn't pee because each year they grew and it tasted the same.

The taste isn't exactly lemon, but it's sour.

No it is not wierd. We did it too. I believe it is Oxalis stricta, it a four leaf clover, and the yellow flower are on top of a long stem? They are bulbs and where I live in spring, the can cover a field of more than a km square in fields of yellow. There is also a purple one but oddly enough, when I was a kid I never tried biting that .
