Does anyone agree with the statement that wearing bright colors is immature?

A few people have mentioned to me that I should start being more fashion concious. A lot of people claim that as women get older they should stay away from bright colors in their wardrobe. I'm not really in to dull color such as grey and black all the time. What should I do?

i don't agree with that statement, i think it is just up to personal taste...
but as you get older i thik you should wear age appropriate clothes and colours, using pastels to still have colour, but to tone down the intensity a notch.
But while you're still in your teens to late twenties, have fun and wear what you can while you still can.
